USA hosting speeds

Hey all. I'm currently in Boulder, Colorado. My site is hosted under the US plans and the speeds I get on my site here are great! Makes sense though doesn't it?

I'd certainly hope you'd get good speeds from inside the US!

It's a real pity that bandwidth costs so much in Australia, otherwise everyone could have access to those sort of speeds for a cheap price here too.

Yeh Internet in the US is amazingly cheap, as is mobile phones. Bandwidth is nothing here compared to Australia.

Yeah it's a real pity, the main reason the internet is so expensive here is because Telstra held a monopoly (and still do to a lesser extent) on the market here for so long
